GAMEPLAY: Users first select from 4 different time signatures available (2/4, 3/4, 4/4 or 6/8) and then pick a level to play. A rhythmic pattern is then shown that to be played using the touch pad. When the user is ready to begin, an audible and visual metronome counts down and continues during gameplay. Scoring is awarded based on accuracy and level. An error screen lets users know EXACTLY where mistakes were made so that corrections can be made in the future. Our goal is to encourage students to develop their music reading abilities through time tested traditional means.
